Virtual Alumnae Meet-2024
On 22nd June 2024, S.S. Jain Subodh PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya organized a Virtual Alumnae Meeting with the objective of fostering a strong connection among its Alumnae spread across the globe. The event aimed to reminisce about the institution’s growth, achievements, and the enduring impact it has had on its graduates. Alumnae from around the world were connected. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ruchika Sharma, Coordinator, Alumnae Committee, and Ms. Sristy Sharma, President, Subodh Mahila Mahavidyalaya Alumnae Association. It began with a captivating display of a college video that chronicled the institution’s journey, highlighting milestones and memories cherished by Alumnae and faculty alike. The president of the Alumnae association, extended a warm welcome to esteemed Alumnae, faculty members, and honored guests, expressing delight at the widespread participation in this significant milestone celebration.

Several activities were conducted for the Alumnae. Activities included a memory challenge where Alumnae were invited to identify past principals in chronological order, fostering engagement and nostalgia. Interactive games followed, including movie clip identification, audio clip recognition, and a logo identification contest, adding a fun element to the proceedings. Principal Ma’am, Prof. (Dr.) Renu Joshi, delivered a profound address, reflecting on the institution’s transformative journey over the past 25 years. Her speech underscored the collective achievements of the college community and articulated a vision for future excellence. Principal Ma’am emphasized the pivotal role of Alumnae in shaping the institution’s legacy, inspiring continued support and involvement. 

Vice- Principal, Dr. Indu Sharma also emphasized the pivotal role of girl education in shaping a progressive society. She highlighted the institution’s commitment to empowering young women through quality education and various initiatives. 

Notable Alumnae, Ms. Ambika Girglani, Ms. Rebecca Lewis, Ms. Liza Chandel, Ms. Shreya Jangid and Ms. Nikita Kanwar enthusiastically shared their personal experiences and heartfelt memories, illustrating the profound impact of their alma mater on their lives and careers. Each story conveyed a sense of gratitude and nostalgia, highlighting friendships forged, lessons learned, and the invaluable guidance received during their time at the college. Plans for an offline Alumnae meet scheduled for September and upcoming elections for committee heads were discussed, with attendees providing valuable feedback via feedback forms.

In her heartfelt contribution to the college’s virtual Alumnae meet, Dr. Aparna Sharma, Assistant Professor of Hindi, expressed herself through a moving Hindi poem. Her verses eloquently captured the essence of nostalgia, the bond between past and present students, and the enduring spirit of the college community. 

The event concluded with sincere thanks to all participants for their enthusiastic engagement, reinforcing the strong bond and unity within the Alumnae network. Also, with anticipation for future connections and support among Alumnae, expressing optimism for the college’s continued growth and success.
